T-Shirt and Event News

Some of the newer folks to boxing have asked about the LBNY tshirt some of us have (the one with the hiker logo on the front and the LBNY logo on the back. If there's enough interest, I think we could swing another order, but I need to hear from people first. You CAN buy them individually from the distributor, but they're like $22 or so from them and half that for us because of Kevin's connection to the owners. I have to check on the prices again, but if anyone wants one, now's the time to speak up!

Also, the WNY gathering in August is going to be at Darien Lakes State Park...check here to take a look http://nysparks.state.ny.us/parks/info.asp?parkID=63). This will be like Fear Faketor...a day event of boxing on Saturday for those who want to come in and out without staying on site and a two night camping event with night boxing for those who want to stay overnight (Friday will be just a check in night, while Saturday will be some night boxing and more hang out time). The theme will be amusement park based, but we will NOT be at Six Flags Darien Lake...anyone interested can certainly go, though!

Anyway, I need to know ASAP how many people are planning on staying overnight (at least on Saturday) so I can reserve some sites and get aset of boxes for the night event. Sign up ASAP at AQ f you're interested (and let me know if you want to donate boxes to the event)! I split the WNY event posting into two so I could keep track of the overnighters and the daytrippers. http://www.atlasquest.com/events/event.html?gEventId=102 has the overnight event and http://www.atlasquest.com/events/event.html?gEventId=171 has the Saturday event only. I'd like to try and get us all in the A loop for camping, somewhere in sites 15-32, so if you can make your reservations now, DO so at the website I listed (and don't wait...the sites go fast in summer!).

Note: If you only plan on staying for the day, do NOT sign up for the overnight event. If you were signed up for the original event in Allegheny , you're now signed up for the overnighter (since I just changed the location in the original listing), If that's not what you want now, you'll need to remove yourself and sign up for the day event.

IF you ARE staying overnight, you can sign up for both, but at LEAST sign up for the night one. They actually have separate eventstamps!
