Another seriously good time for the Sprite and the Highlander! We took Lock Wench's advice this time and hung around the pavillion getting exchanges, PTs and a nice cool breeze...what a day! We hung out with Mark & Sue Pepe, chatted with Green Tortuga, even got to finally meet the infamous Silent Doug & Clueless! The Quinn kids came with us, but stayed at Buttermilk Falls while we lounged in cool comfort at the Super 8 (I TOTALLY have to carve a Super 8 box, no joke!). We also hopped over to the after party at campsite 58 and dug around in the dark for boxes...SERIOUSLY cool!
We tried for more boxes today, but only got two (and planted one) before the heat drove us to Wegmans and then home. Still, a great time was had by all thanks to TurtleMcQ!
Anyway, now I'm getting geared up for the Darien Lakes event. School's got one week left and we're gonna camp out there the last week of June to check out the hiding spots. It looks like I've got a decent amount of folks to have around for the night event, so I'll have a set of night boxes, too (one shot only!).
If YOU haven't decided to go yet, whatcha waitin' for??? It's gonna be one heckuva time with a slew of stamps in one spot (CQ and I are already fighting over who's doing what stamp and I know for a fact he's done like 18 already)! Can I say more aobut how cool this will be? Just BE there, already! :-)
The (too hot to move, but not to plug an event) Sprite & the (camped out in front of the air conditioner) Highlander
